I wrote this tune after watching an "Elvis The Early Years" marathon. An interesting time in the King's life. Recorded this tune in Nashville. Loretta Lynn's steel guitar player was on my session. The steel was the last thing we added. After that he said "Welcome To Nashville". Before the steel was added it was more of a blues tune. I've had some interest on this tune from movies and other artists. Please let me know what you think.
